I really don't know if I'm mad that I spend most of my time on my phone now, versus my $3,000 gaming PC banging my head against the wall trying to achieve more sigils or new Minis in Blizzards new game, Warcraft Rumble. I really thought this was going to be a bust; warcraft chars, in a portrait mode style game that is ONLY playable on your phone. I thought this was going to be a bad remake of Clash Royale and Clash of Clans but, honestly hate to say it again for Blizzard - take my money.

The game starts out ridiculously easy, but then layers of complex strategies come into play by by adding new leaders your main char that has a special ability ) or new minis that you want to try out in your "deck".

If you ever tried Hearthstone before, imagine that but actionable and being able to see your damage against your foes with a map and some towers in between. Extremely easy, but extremely addicting to keep playing to what you are able to do next.

Whether you are a dad or not, the majority of the time that you are playing are against NPCs, so you can actually pause the game or if your screen locks you can pick back up right where you left off.

This has got to be one of the key features to me, being able to pause, or resume my activity when the little one is crying or if we are tasked with the dad tasks of doing x,y, or z.

Unless you hit PvP there aren't really any worries of pausing the game, no penalties nor any issues of losing any items. So ultimately, if you are looking for a quick game while the kids asleep, this is a great one to try. If you have a few minutes undistracted, PvP gets pretty fun as there are the same component of ranking, additional rewards and prizes.

At DBODS we'll be adding more and more guides on this game but in the interim please check out "Builds for WR" on iOS and they give you loads of information on builds. Much more coming with this game, super addicting so might be a while for another post related to this!
