DBODS - Folex Stain Remover Carpet Stain, Fabric Stain Remover

Looking for a stain remover for accidents, spills, or pet stain remover? Look no further, as the hype is real! Our daughter is a wild child - milk stains, juice stains, soup stains, or kid stains in general are a pain to clean. I really wondered what kind of magic product there was to remove fabric, or couch stains and I came across this magical item on Amazon.

Coming home to a hot mess one thing, coming home to stains on the sofa, or carpet is another. When we got our first few stains, we tried a combination of kinds of solvents - from chlorox sprays, target sprays, industrial cleaning sprays and nothing prevailed. I'm pretty messy myself, it just so happened we use this a lot for our daughters accidents (I'll blame her for everything even though I've made my fair share of messes) and seemed to work pretty well just for a spray and minimal work to clean it.

Here is one example of a chocolate stain that was successfully removed from our fabric couch.

This was chocolate milk that we didn't realize was probably seeping into the fibers for about an hour. As I scrambled to grab the Folex cleaner, I took a second to remember to not be so impatient to spray and wipe the second the fabric got moist.

If you are like me, extremely poor at reading instructions, or do not want to read them at all, at least read THIS.

• spray generously in the area

• let it soak for a few minutes

• agitate with a towel/paper towel

• then blot the area and wipe

After I successfully soaked the sofa, which felt like an eternity, I waited and waited. It took me plenty of willpower to patiently hold my hand back from scrubbing, but after five minutes passed, I just used a simple scrubbing motion with paper towel to exfoliate and agitate the area. After that was done, what seemed to work even more was to spray it one last time, and blot with a paper towel. Voila! It removed 95% of the stain which later on I would go back to steam, and wet vac the rest of it to make it 100%.

Not bad for five minutes of waiting and scrubbing. So if you're prone to accidents, and looking for a fabric stain remover, or star remover in general, would highly recommend trying out the Folex Stain Remover!
